Round 4 Spring | West Philly | Within this course, beginner skaters will learn how to drop-in, build speed by pumping, carve frontside and backside. More experienced beginners will learn how to slash coping, tail stall and switch carve. We know that everyone learns at different speeds, and the instructor will be able to teach beginners at different levels simultaneously during this course.
For this course, skaters are required to have one of the following:
- Taken our Adult Beginner Course.
- Have a minimum of 6 months skateboard experience.
- Can drop in on a 3ft quarter pipe or bankramp.

Our after school skateboard program is an informal session where skaters learn new tricks, burn off extra energy from school, or just relax and participate in skateboard art workshops. Depending on the size of the group, there may be two skate instructors. Foundry staff will also provide a snack for the skaters (typically a bag of potato chips or pretzels) during the session.

Age: Skaters who want to join this camp must be age 7+ or have previous skateboard experience with STF.
Levels: All levels are welcomed, however, if a skater has never skateboarded before, we highly recommend taking one or two private lessons with us beforehand so that they can skateboard safely, gain confidence and enjoy this camp so much more!
Equipment: Campers must have their own skateboard, helmet, and safety gear. No longboard or penny board is allowed.
