Skylar, originally from Arizona, discovered his passion for partner
acrobatics in 2023 when he stepped in to fill a role in a show.
What started as a one-time opportunity quickly turned into
something much bigger. He immediately fell in love with
hand-to-hand and banquine. Since then, Skylar has dedicated himself
to refining his craft, traveling to train with top coaches and
performers in the field. Along the way, he’s developed a deep
appreciation for both the technical precision and trust that
partner acro demands. Today, he shares that passion by teaching
workshops, helping others build strength, connection, and
confidence in their own practice.
The “Cyr wheel” created by artist Daniel Cyr of Cirque du Soleil.
Step inside this graceful circle and discover the poetry of balance, control, and centrifugal harmony. Each spin blends strength and expression—where physics meets performance and stillness becomes flight. Transforms motion into art.
Taught by SLCCC instructors and performing artists Atreus & Christy.
No experience needed. Space is limited.
An Intro to Banquine workshop offers an exciting entry point into this dynamic acrobatic partner technique, where bases work together to launch a flyer into the air. Open to all levels, the workshop focuses on foundational skills such as timing, coordination, and safe lifting mechanics. Participants will learn how to effectively communicate, build trust, and execute basic throws and catches in a controlled, supportive environment. Whether you’re new to acrobatics or looking to expand your partnering vocabulary, this workshop provides a fun and empowering way to explore height, teamwork, and precision.
