For children ages 7-9, Ballet 1 builds on the skills developed in Pre Ballet, and Ballet Preparatory while continuing to build on the ballet class structure in a fun and exciting way!

Have a little one that won't stop dancing around? Have them join us in this 18 week PreBallet class! Geared for children ages 4-5, who have taken PreBallet before, your little dance stars will learn coordination, musicality, collaboration and independence in this fun dance class. Children will learn basic ballet positioning and terminology. We are so excited to be an early part of any child's introduction to dance!

A FREE weekly class for elementary aged children (ages 6-9) that builds self-confidence and self-esteem through fun dance based exercises. Drawing from a wide range of dance techniques, ConfiDANCE! encourages a child's development of skills like coordination and musicality while building a sense of accomplishment, achievement and self-worth. Let's celebrate our creativity and have some fun in ConfiDANCE!

As with any progressive syllabus, each session builds on the principles of the previous week, therefore attendance to all sessions is recommended.

Parents/Guardians will register for the class under their names and emails, a form will be sent out one week prior to the start of the session to collect information about the student that will participate. email classes@smuinballet.org
