3~' Namasté _/\_ Aloha Nui Loa!

We welcome you to join us for our very first 300-Hr Yoga Teacher Training on Maui. The dates of the first 300-hour training will be from June 22-July 14th, 2019. We are also offering another 300-hour training from August 10th - September 1st. The training will take place at a beautiful retreat space on Maui's beautiful north shore.

The primary topics we will cover are: Yoga Philosophy & History, Sanskrit, Teaching Methodology, Techniques, Anatomy & Physiology, Yoga Ethics and Way of Life, the Business of Yoga, and Practicum (Teaching).

The course will thus offer a deeper immersion in all of the topics covered in your 200-Hr training, giving you a much better grounding in these areas. You will also be certified at the 500-Hour level and eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as a RYT-500.

Please note that you are still welcome to join us for this transformational event even if you don't yet have a 200-Hour Yoga Alliance certificate. Inquire for more details.

Course manual is included, required and recommended books must be purchased separately in advance, as will other yoga accessories such as mat, yoga clothes, etc.

Meals:
3 wholesome vegan/gluten-free meals will be provided each day. Other food may be purchased in town (Paia, 20 minutes away by car).

Lodging:

A lot of emphasis will be placed on following your heart and finding your own unique voice and way of expression, even if you choose not to teach yoga. The skills, practices and lessons learned from this training will well-serve you the rest of your life.

We also want to emphasize that we do not promote any worldview or religious dogma (included dietary), but rather bring forward different viewpoints so that we might consider the possibilities. We view yoga not as a religion but as a tool that can actually help you to practice your own faith and live your life more fruitfully. There are many paths of yoga (paths are many, truth is one), and there are many styles; we want to help you find the ones that fit you best.

That said, the style that we mainly teach is a form of Hatha Vinyasa Yoga (aka Vinyasa Flow) that lends itself well to the creativity and intuition of the teacher and can be modified to fit different age groups, fitness levels, etc.

If you'd like to connect with your instructors Allowah Lion or Mark Gregory, you can reach them at 1-888-689-YOGA, or email: Smile@SonrisaYogaDance.com

COST:
~ 1 person shared tent: $4,500
~ 1 person private tent: $4,999
~ 2 person private tent: $8500 (saves you $500 if you come with a friend/partner!)
~ Ask us about Group Rates and Early Bird Specials.
~ Work-trade positions may be available.
~ % of total profit will be donated to a local charity.

P.S. From the Yoga Alliance website: A RYS 300-hour advanced training is designed to build upon and deepen the trainee’s understanding of the fundamental concepts of the practice and teaching of yoga that are generally taught at the RYS 200-hour level. A RYS 300-hour advanced training prepares its trainees to teach principles and techniques of yoga that are more advanced, more detailed, and/or subtler, and the training enables them to teach with greater skill than could reasonably be expected of a RYT 200.
