Kirtan with Rob and Melissa
Dec 7, 2025 - Dec 7, 2025
Kirtan with Rob and Melissa
Sunday, December 7th, 4-6pm

Kirtan—call-and-response chanting—is the devotional heart of Bhakti Yoga.

Rob and Melissa bring a fresh, heartfelt voice to this timeless practice, weaving sacred Sanskrit mantras with modern, accessible melodies and lush harmonies. Described as “joyful medicine,” “heart-opening bliss,” and “love and devotion materialized,” their music creates a sacred space for connection, celebration, and deep presence.

Whether you’re new to chanting or a lifelong Bhakta, Rob and Melissa create a warm, welcoming container where joy, connection, and divine love are always present. Each gathering is a celebration—a chance to sing, open your heart, and be part of something beautiful.

Based in the Seattle area, they travel widely, offering kirtans, workshops, and retreats across the U.S. and beyond. Their music and teachings have been featured at Bhakti Fest, Shakti Fest, Bend Yoga Festival, and the Northwest Yoga Feast.

Meditation: It’s Not What You Think!
Jan 18, 2026 - Jan 18, 2026
Meditation: It’s Not What You Think!
A workshop featuring a variety of easy-to-learn meditation techniques

Dr. Amen, psychiatrist and founder of the Change Your Brain Foundation says, “meditation changes your brain, it extends your life...creates more happiness…increases inner peace…lowers stress …increases mental clarity… helps support long-standing emotional problems (including fear, anxiety, depression, anger, and substance abuse)… and, in fact…it is one of the best things you can do for your brain!

And, with nothing but bad news everywhere you turn (the economy, politics, health scares), people are smothering under a blanket of stress, and meditation is one of the best ways to raise your threshold for stress.”

During this workshop, Jeni Martinez, yoga teacher and longtime meditator, will introduce you to a variety of meditation practices to determine which is the best fit for you. Once you figure out which is most comfortable for you, you can practice at home on your own.

People often say they can’t meditate because they can’t sit still or quiet their thoughts. Did you know there are ways to meditate that involve movement and/or sound? There’s even a sweet one that involves chocolate!

No matter what has kept you from meditating in the past, this workshop can help you find a better solution. You only need 90 minutes to learn these simple healing techniques. Your mental health, happiness, inner peace and clarity will benefit from this essential training.

No experience needed. All are welcome. Wear something comfortable. Dress in layers. Bring your questions and your curiosity. Meditation is not what you think!
