6-Week Continuing Beginner Series - The Functional Path: Yoga for Real-Life Strength & Mobility (ζ)

This Series is for Beginners with a little bit of experience (or equivalent)

This series picks up where our Beginner I (Raw Beginner) series left off. You do not need to have completed our Beginner I Series to attend this series, but you should be able to practice basic poses with no risk of injury. Our focus will be on building yoga skills rather than doing a fast paced practice. Our pace will be medium to slow and build skills from the ground up.

Using what you’ve learned in your other beginner series, we’ll deepen strength, balance, and body awareness with movements that support everyday life. Whether you’re picking up groceries or chasing your grandkids, learn to adapt yoga postures to suit your unique body & move with greater ease and control in daily life.

This Series is for Raw Beginners (or equivalent)

This series will start from square one. As such, it is ideal for those who have never practiced yoga even if you don’t even know what yoga is. Perhaps it’s been so long since practicing yoga that you might as well be a raw beginner. This class is ideal for you too! This is the perfect class for those with no experience, those who have been out of yoga for a long, long time, or those who’s bodies need some extra care in building your practice. Our pace will be slow and build from the ground up.

If you've always had difficulty getting into yoga because the class doesn't address your beginner needs or you're having a tough time sometimes in yoga classes that move too fast rather than breaking down and helping you learn what you need to learn, then this is the class for you.

We offer you expert instruction for stress management, joint care, core strength, safe stretching, balance techniques, and confident movement that will prepare you for all levels classes. These classes designed for all levels of experience in a relaxed, judgment-free environment and will help you explore yoga beyond poses. This is where you learn foundational practices and the language of yoga.

  • You could use more frequency, more integration. Practicing several times a week helps build muscle memory, deepen body awareness, and create a rhythm that sticks.

  • Could use Repeated Details & Technicals: Posture clinics give repetition and slow us down to understand.

  • Could Use Conceptual Grounding to help translate the practice to tools for life.

Explore yoga beyond poses. This is where you learn foundational practices and the language of yoga.

With this somatic practice, you become more mindful of your posture in your yoga and in your everyday life. Perfect for experienced beginners looking to deepen body awareness and improve core mobility.

  • Explore expansion and innate upper body strength from center

  • Create more length in your reach without over-stretching

  • Arm and shoulder positions for strength, comfort and ease
