Heart Centered Meditation
Mar 23, 2026 - May 4, 2026
If you have difficulty deepening into your meditation at home, group meditation can help you access the spaciousness of your body, mind and spirit.

In our weekly meditation, we ground into Mother Earth, connect with our hearts and develop our capacity to know, feel and see ourselves and the world around us with more clarity.

Meditation allows us to observe the nature of our own mind and to understand how our core beliefs, which often reside in our subconscious, affect our thoughts and our emotions. The skill of holding space as the observer and the one observed offers us the freedom to choose how we interact in the world rather than simply reacting to the world.

This meditation is offered as gift to the community.

Qigong / Tai Chi with Dante Baker 4-week series
Apr 25, 2026 - May 16, 2026

Investment: $30 per class | $100 for all 4

Combining two gentle movement practices, this 4-week series guides you to more balance, flexibility and calm.

Yang 24 is a short, flowing Tai Chi sequence practiced slowly with smooth weight shifts, relaxed joints, and an upright spine. This style incorporates basic martial arts movements while keeping the practitioner in a relaxed state of mind.

Eight Brocades (Ba Duan Jin) is a set of eight simple Qigong movements that coordinate gentle stretching with calm breathing. In this practice, you are moving in specific ways to bring energy (qi) within the energy lines (meridians) to bring harmony within the body.

Practiced together, they feel like a blend of “moving meditation” and whole-body maintenance. You can expect to spend time repeating movements to refine alignment, soften tension, and improve coordination.

The effort level is usually light to moderate, with a focus on ease rather than strain.

Early sessions often bring a noticeable sense of calm and a loosening of shoulders, hips, and back.

With consistent practice, many people find that daily movement feels smoother and steadier, especially when standing, walking, or changing direction. Benefits build gradually and are strongest when you stay relaxed, breathe comfortably, and practice within your current range of motion. You may begin to become sensitive to energy (qi) within and around your body.

Benefits include:

Balance and stability: Better control during weight shifting, stepping, and turning.

Mobility and flexibility: A gentler, more comfortable range of motion in the hips, spine, shoulders, and ankles.

Leg strength and posture: Stronger supportive muscles and improved alignment from repeated standing and transitions.

Stress reduction: Lowers mental stress and calms the nervous system through paced movement and breathing.

Breath and circulation: Improved breathing coordination and a warm, “energized but relaxed” feeling.

Focus and sleep quality: Enhanced body awareness and steadier attention that can support better sleep routines.

Dante Baker is a devoted practitioner of Eastern philosophies and holistic health, with a focus on traditional Chinese medicine, Qigong, and energy work inspired by martial arts. In 2011, he enrolled in a nine-month Tui Na course with Dr. Akmal Muwwaakli to deepen his understanding of bodywork and internal energy. He further expanded his repertoire in 2013 by earning a Tai Chi Ball certification under Master Nianzu Li (L.Ac), blending movement, breath, and meditation principles.

Building on this foundation, Dante has strengthened his Qigong practice and has been teaching both private clients and larger groups across a range of health studios. His approach emphasizes mindful breath, gentle yet effective energy work, and practical how-to guidance that clients can integrate into daily life. Whether working one-on-one or in a class setting, Dante aims to support balance, resilience, and vitality through time-tested eastern modalities.

Systemic Constellation Workshop with Randy Goldberg
May 3, 2026 - May 3, 2026
In a Systemic Constellation (or Family Constellation) workshop, your inner landscape is brought out of abstraction and into a living form.

Rather than staying trapped in the loop of mental analysis, your issue is externally mapped into physical space, allowing you to see it as a three-dimensional field of relationships, forces, and movements. This spatialization creates an immediate, intuitive grasp of dynamics that are often invisible when held only inside the mind.

As representatives embody elements of your system, unconscious material begins to speak through sensation, posture, emotion, and impulse—revealing hidden loyalties, interrupted bonds, and frozen patterns. What emerges is not a story about the problem, but a direct encounter with its structure.

Family Constellation work operates as a post-modern, neo-shamanic ritual technology—an energetic container that the ancient layers of the psyche recognize and respond to. It bypasses excessive verbal processing and speaks in the language of image, body, and field, often landing with a depth and impact beyond talk therapy alone.

This modality doesn’t just uncover wounds; it reconnects you to inner resources—strength, belonging, dignity, ancestral support—that were always present but obscured.

From this place, genuine movement becomes possible. The work tends to feel less like “fixing” and more like remembering who and what you already are, creating conditions for profound healing, clarity, and moving forward.

Randy Goldberg, LMT is a graduate of the DC Hellinger Institute, and of advanced studies in Family Constellation with Heinz Stark of Germany. He is a former Yoga monk, Craniosacral therapist, and a world-renowned astrologer (both Western and Vedic) interviewed by the Washington Post, NPR, and CNN. He has facilitated Family Constellation therapy for individuals and groups for more than 20 years. More information at www.randygoldberg.org; 202-380-6850 or randy@randygoldberg.org.

Special note: April 12 will have a guest facilitator, Harrison Snow, substituting for Randy Goldberg.

Harrison Snow has facilitated family and organizational constellations for hundreds of people in more than 200 constellation workshops and personal coaching sessions. He has worked with dozens of international organizations to foster leadership and organizational development and inspire change. His book on systemic work in a business setting is Confessions of a Corporate Shaman; Healing the Soul of an Organization. Family Constellations Workshop with Yulia Ilchyk
May 31, 2026 - May 31, 2026
Healing inherited traumas, accessing inherited resources.
A Family Constellations workshop addressing individual inquiries.

Our ancestors and family of origin have a strong influence on our lives. Sometimes our current or repetitive problems or conflicts can arise from unresolved trauma and issues lying in the past, in our family history. Hence, we cannot resolve them by dealing with them at the level of our personal experience only.

Family Constellations allow us to access the root causes of our challenges by expanding our perspective from an individual to a systemic one, based on how we connect to others both consciously and subconsciously. By including what once was excluded, acknowledging and honoring our own experiences, as well as the experiences of our ancestors and family members, we can gain insight into our own behaviors, beliefs, and relationships, providing a shift towards reconciliation, healing, and change.

Family Constellations are a good option if you:
  • Find yourself encountering a blind spot in something you would like to change.
  • Have not seen significant progress despite analytical efforts to address issues.
  • Experience recurring relationship (or other kind of*) challenges and seek their root cause. *This is also relevant for business, health, emotional well-being, and other concerns.
  • Feel stuck in repetitive patterns.
  • Feel disconnected from others, etc.

A Family Constellation begins when the client presents a specific issue or concern. The facilitator then guides the client in selecting group members to act as representatives for family members, ancestors, or relevant concepts. These representatives are intuitively positioned within the space to reflect the dynamics of the client’s family system or other relevant systems, such as a business or organization, etc.

As the representatives embody their roles, they express emotions and sensations that reveal hidden patterns and entanglements within the client's system. The facilitator helps uncover unresolved conflicts and imbalances through dialogue and observation, suggesting healing sentences and movements to promote a shift. This dynamic process often leads to emotional release and a change in perspective for the client, potentially resulting in further life changes.

Participating as a representative in a family constellation allows individuals to gain personal insights. This experience often fosters empathy and understanding, as representatives resonate with feelings and dynamics that may parallel their own life situations. Additionally, participating as a representative can facilitate personal healing and transformation by uncovering subconscious patterns and providing new perspectives on personal challenges.

By witnessing and participating in the constellation, all participants benefit from the shared experience, which can resonate with their own life circumstances and foster personal changes.

No prior experience or knowledge is necessary, and new participants are welcome.
