Beginners Pilates with Jessie 16th May to 20th June (6 classes)

This course provides an exploration of Pilates principles, what they mean and the physical sensations associated with them. You'll gain confidence in fundamental Pilates movements and insight into how these movements harmonize with our body's design, ultimately resulting in enhanced comfort, strength, and flexibility.
For beginners worried: “am I doing this right!!”we will use Franklin Method® balls, bands, and techniques to offer valuable feedback to both your mind and body. This feedback will help you develop a deeper awareness of whether you are aligning with the Pilates principles we're employing, ensuring a more effective practice.
Please bring a mat and a small towel. All other equipment is provided.
You can book all 6 sessions or pay for individual sessions. The cost of 6 sessions is £69. The cost of each individual session is £14.00.
Jessie Skeggs has been teaching movement for over 25 years, first as an advanced Personal Trainer for Holmes Place, Fulham, then in 2003 becoming a Pilates teacher with Body Control Pilates®, over that time she trained teachers on the mat work courses at The Body Control Academy, London and is still a supervising teacher. In 2020 she became a Franklin Method® Educator graduating Level 3 in 2023. Known as The Movement Coach, Jessie runs The Movement Lab which is her vehicle for making movement knowledge more accessible to a wider audience. She holds Monthly Movement Labs here at the centre and loves nothing better than breaking down barriers to movement for all types of bodies and also teaches Beginner Pilates.
