This workshop combines Yin yoga and Thai Massage. Find meditation and release in guided self-massage and restorative yoga postures. Students can also opt in to feel-good assisted stretching and massage offered by the instructor as they soften into yin poses.
In this workshop, we will take a deep dive within, through 90 Lunar Salutations, to physically align with the darkness. We will find the inward gaze/pratyahara to navigate these inner waters, to honor and integrate them, through meditations peppered between the sets of salutations.
Through reflective writing practices, we will create new goals and intentions. Intentions are the starting point of any dream; what makes the unconscious, conscious. Our intentions, born from our hearts desires, are the stepping stones that lead us like a compass toward our goals. By setting and refining our intentions and goals at the Winter Solstice, we can lay the framework for our plans, building a path that lights the way through the darkness and guides us towards our brightest future.
We will tap the unlimited reservoir of our creative power in this workshop through the asanas and writing exercises. Let's take a deep dive together, and cultivate our heart's desire in welcoming environment and community!
New Year’s Day, January 1
10:00 am-Noon
$50
This New Year’s Day let us weave together meditation, asana, and a guided systemic relaxation practice, to deepen self knowing and listen to the intention of the heart. We’ll move slowly to reset the body, quiet the mind, and create space for a clear, heart-centered intention for the year ahead.
Who this is for:
This workshop is for anyone seeking a reset; whether you’re feeling
stressed, creatively blocked, or simply wanting to enter the new
year with more presence and clarity. Come if you’re feeling tired,
hopeful, curious, overwhelmed, or simply ready for a fresh
start.
What you’ll gain:
You’ll step into the new year feeling grounded, open, and aligned
with what truly matters to you. This practice supports clarity,
creativity, somatic movement, and the release of lingering stress
from the year past.
What to expect:
Meditation — Arriving in the New Year
We’ll open with a guided meditation to land in the present moment
and reconnect with your inner radiance.
Gentle Asana — Reset + Renew
An intentional flow designed to warm the body, soften tension, and
prepare you for deeper stillness.
Systemic Relaxation
You’ll be guided into deep systemic relaxation where the body can
fully unwind and the mind can settle. From this state of rest,
you’ll listen for your sankalpa—a heartfelt intention that supports
your highest truth for the year ahead.
What to Bring:
A journal and pen.
Community Connection:
We’ll close with a supportive conversation to help cultivate sangha
and anchor your intention into community.
No previous experience necessary, and all are welcome!
