Trans Voice Tune-Up is a monthly, ONLINE, voice-centered opportunity for trans folks to deepen their understanding of the speaking voice, troubleshoot hang-ups, and connect with other voice users. Struggling with a particular aspect of your voice? We'll work on it together. Feeling out of practice? We'll do some exercises to get you back on track. Work with other Voice Lab students in a supportive, collaborative environment catered to what you need.
You’ve spent all this time prepping
your music, now take the opportunity to present it to family and
friends in a sleek and polished atmosphere.
When: Saturday, October 24, 6:00 pm
After registration, we will reach out to you for song and accompaniment information.
Note: Students must be fully memorized and prepared for a polished recital. If you have any questions, please talk with your teacher.
Voice Lab teacher and Broadway NYC voice coach Marisa del Campo guides you through this interactive, fun, and highly informational workshop. Auditioning is more than just being prepared with your music. Marisa will make sure you have a deep understanding of the whole audition process from beginning to end, and tools for navigating the new role technology plays in the virtual audition room. By the end of this 2-hour intensive, you’ll be able to cut your music and step into your auditions with confidence and readiness to do your best! This workshop is perfect for you if you are ready to polish your musical theater audition package and advance your performance prep to a professional level.
Marisa performs extensively in New York City, regionally, and internationally in both theatrical and cabaret settings big and small, from Don’t Tell Mama’s Piano Bar and Cabaret to the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. She works with artists and performers who want to learn more about the industry and improve their skills through voice and acting training.
