This class is a full body, resistance training workout with an added focus on breath and the pelvic floor. It is safe for all fitness levels and for the post-partum body. Many exercises will use body weight and others may incorporate some light weights and babies if applicable. Please bring a yoga mat for the floor work part of the class. Participants must be at least 6 weeks post-partum to join the class and babies are welcome but not required to participate.

Pfilates (Pelvic Floor Pilates) With Suzanne

This class is to help work on the strength, endurance, and speed of your pelvic floor. It is not a traditional workout or a traditional class. We will focus on explaining the method and moving through the exercise progressions. Pfilates has been shown to be 80% effective in reducing or eliminating symptoms of incontinence in three months. Participants must register for the series. Joining the class after the start date will not be permitted due to the progressions of the exercises.
