A two-hour vigorous, expansive, heart-opening class combining asana (posture), pranayama (breathwork), kriya (energy work), Mantra (sound vibration) and movement to enable stillness and the experience of bliss. Classes can build upon one on the other – take up to all four sessions to experience this practice.
Sattva yoga is an integrated yoga practice from the lower Himalayas in India. The practice combines hatha asanas with kundalini yoga in the tantric tradition to address each layer of the whole body from the subtle energy levels and bio-memory to body's muscles and organs. Sattva yoga does not rely on levels to categorize people or classes - come as you are, hear from your mind-body intelligence and experience unity in practicing together.
