Are you stuck? Can't find your inspiration? This one-hour sattva yoga journey COMBINED with a one-hour class includes naad yoga (mantras and sound vibrations), a visualization practice (guided meditation), pranyamas (breath work) and ends with a writing exercise. Sattva Yoga works at the energetic level which enables the writer to access inspiration, focus, their voice and power. You will gain access to deep insights, go beyond the mind and integrate the revelations. These yoga techniques allows the writer to complete their project and to share the authentic self with others through their writing. Stress, distraction, old stories and conditioning are stored in the body and can inhibit and block creativity. Yoga helps to release all of this as well as relieving tension on the physical level – in the shoulders, neck, head, lower back, hips, wrists, eyes. The body is at ease; so is the mind and nervous system. When the body is at ease, the genius brain can be accessed.
Sattva yoga is an integrated yoga practice from the lower Himalayas in India. The practice combines hatha asanas with kundalini yoga in the tantric tradition to address each layer of the whole body from the subtle energy levels and bio-memory to body's muscles and organs. Sattva yoga does not rely on levels to categorize people or classes - come as you are, hear from your mind-body intelligence and experience unity in practicing together.
