An organized play event for Spearhead Age of Sigmar with four rounds of play and four awards with prizes!

Admission to this event is $30. Waystone members will receive a 20% discount and priority registration.

Tournament Rules:
• Spearhead army selections are locked in at the door
• All models must be on correctly sized bases.
• Dice must be standard. Symbols are only allowed on the 6 face
• Spearhead rules and armies locked as of 8/5

Rules and Expectations

Terrain and Missions

• All games will be played with the Sand and Bones mission pack and terrain
• If we don’t have enough, we will back-fill with Fire and Jade as necessary, but higher scoring tables will be on the new missions
• We are using Spearhead Terrain rules - make sure to cross-check against current General’s Handbook Rules

Game Timing

• Rounds are 80 minutes long: That’s 40 minutes per player, 10 minutes per turn
• Once time is called, no more dice may be rolled.
• If your game is not over, you may talk through the remaining actions to achieve a final point estimate.
• Please try and make sure you give your opponent their fair share of time
• Players who repeatedly go overtime or take an unproportional amount of time will be forced to find and download a chess clock app on their phone.

Pairing

• The first round will be completely random.
• Matchup Immunities for round 1 can be requested and might be honored at TO’s discretion.
• Remaining rounds will be randomly paired within win brackets.

Scoring

• You will be responsible for tracking your scores within the game.
• After a game is over, please report the winner, loser, and total score.
• If your army is Battle Ready painted, you will receive an additional 5 points per game.

Awards

The following awards will be bestowed at the end of the event. If a player would be awarded more than one award, they will only be awarded one (in the order listed below) and any subsequent awards will pass to the next recipient.

Tournament Winner - most wins
Best Painted - as voted by fellow players
Best Competitor - vote for your favorite person you played against
Wooden Spoon - fewest wins

Inclement Weather Policy
In the unlikely event that Waystone’s scheduled staff member cannot guarantee their own safe arrival to the premises on the day of the scheduled event due to inclement weather or an act of God, the event will be canceled. Our staff will use the contact information provided in your ticket purchase to notify attendees of this cancellation. Furthermore, attendees will be issued a refund for their event ticket.
