Chaturanga Dandasana Workshop
Chaturanga Dandasana, or “four-limbed staff pose” is an integral part of many yoga traditions. Typically, it is used as a transition pose leading to urdhva mukha svanasana (upward-facing dog); however, this pose holds its own power!
In this 90 minute workshop led by Amy Faust, we will explore the safe alignment of chaturanga and learn techniques for balancing effort and surrender while building our strength in the pose. The session will include a warm-up vinyasa practice, an interactive workshop portion, and a vinyasa-style closing practice.

Mindfulness for Self-Compassion is simply compassion turned inward.
It involves tapping into our larger, more connected and loving sense of self so we can send compassion to our more contracted, limited, and separate sense of self.
This workshop will focus on mindfully expanding your sense of
who you are, so you
can open your heart to yourself. It will provide concrete tools for
responding in a
compassionate way whenever you suffer. We will explore how to
soothe and
comfort ourselves so we can handle difficult emotions with more
ease, and also
how to motivate change with kindness. Through lecture, discussion,
meditation,
and experiential exercises, you will gain the tools needed to put
self-compassion
into practice in your daily life.
What you will Learn:
How to practice self-compassion in daily life
Understand the evidence-based benefits of self-compassion
Motivate yourself with kindness rather than criticism
Handle difficult emotions with greater ease
Increase your happiness with savoring and self-appreciation

Trust. Connection. Authenticity. Healthy Masculinity. Integrity.
Do you want to bring more of these qualities into your life?
On the Fourth Friday of each month, we invite you to join our community of men, where we seek to uplift one another and be real with each other.
We chose mountains as a symbol for this group because they capture the aspects of earth, solidity, and centeredness. They also reach upwards towards the heavens, calling us to grow and find our higher purpose.
Keith Silliman-Matthews leads this 60 minute workshop will include guided meditation, sharing and dialogue. Monthly, a volunteer group Member or guest will bring something to share- adding discovery and interest each month.
