Become Xpose Fitness Certified!

Xpose has created a program to encourage all Xpose Divas to become more well-rounded. It's like the black belt system in Martial Arts; you will climb up the ranks, in order, with the goal of earning your black garter!

White Garter is the Pole 1 Xpose Fitness Certification Level. All applicants are expected to have taken several Pole Level 1 classes to be familiar with the vocabulary and able to perform the most commonly taught basic spins, transitional moves and pole strengthening exercises. The certification consists of two separate parts:

1. Compulsory Moves –In small groups, you will demonstrate the Level 1 compulsory moves one by one, while the instructor assesses your performance. You may be asked to repeat these moves multiple times on both your dominant and your non-dominant side.

2. Routine –Your instructor will teach you a choreographed routine incorporating most or all of the above Level 1 Moves. This routine may include combinations of the above mentioned moves as well as other dance moves and floor work that are used in Level 1 pole classes. The instruction will be fast-paced, but you will repeat the routine during instruction to get the feel for the flow.

In small groups, you will perform the routine start to finish while an Instructor assesses your performance. You will be expected to smoothly transition between the moves you’ve learned and perform each move with proper form. The routine will be demonstrated and called out by the same Instructor who taught the routine – you are not being tested on memorization. Good form in the moves and fluid performance will be important to your assessment.

Should you not pass a level, have no fear! You will receive 3 free classes to polish up those moves, so you can come back and try again!

Once you earn your black garter you will also receive a Certificate of Completion and a custom Xpose Fitness Order of the Garter Hoodie with your name on it.

Orange Garter is the Floor/Chair 1 Xpose Fitness Certification Level. All applicants are expected to have taken several Floor/Chair classes to be familiar with the vocabulary and able to perform the most commonly taught basic Floor/Chair moves. The certification consists of two separate parts:

 

1. Compulsory Moves – Comprised of a list of movements commonly taught in Floor/Chair classes. Applicant must be aware of vocabulary characteristic of this level and be able to demonstrate the list of movements without instructor explanation and be able to properly perform each move for the duration of 30 seconds per side or 60 seconds for non-sided moves, unless it is a pose.

 

2. Routine – Your instructor will teach you a choreographed routine incorporating most or all of the Floor/Chair Level 1 Moves. This routine may include combinations of the moves as well as other dance moves and floor work that are used in Level 1 pole classes. The instruction will be fast-paced, but you will repeat the routine during instruction to get the feel for the flow.

Xpose has created a program to encourage all Xpose Divas to become more well-rounded. It's like the black belt system in Martial Arts; you will climb up the ranks, in order, with the goal of earning your black garter!

Pink Garter is the Sexy Stretch Xpose Fitness Certification Level. All applicants are expected to have taken several Sexy Stretch classes to be familiar with the vocabulary and able to perform the most commonly taught basic static stretches and know the major muscle groups you are stretching.

You will be expected to demonstrate your basic understanding of various stretching techniques with little to no guidance from the instructor. You will be assessed on the proper form of each stretch, and also on your basic knowledge of how to effectively stretch each muscle group. Please note that your level of flexibility is not of importance; the quality of the stretch is what you will be judged on.
The instructor is going to be strict when assessing your performance, and she will expect that you have already learned how to effectively stretch each muscle group during previous classes. This is not designed as an instructional class. It’s like a final exam, so you will have to truly earn your garter!
 
Part I – Warm Up
The instructor will thoroughly warm up your entire body head to toe so your body is prepared for stretching. You will not be assessed on these moves.
 
Part II – Performance
The instructor will demonstrate each stretch before you are asked to perform and define the targeted muscle group. Please note that based on the muscle group and the nature of the stretch, some may have to be performed on both Left and Right, while some may only be performed once. Each client will then be given 3 muscle groups and will need to demonstrate a stretch for each, along with a description of a modification, intensifier, or verbal cue for the stretch.
 
Part III - Assessment
The Instructor will award garters to those who are certified! Good luck!

Green Garter is the Pole 2 Xpose Fitness Certification Level. All applicants are expected to have taken several Pole Level 2 classes to be familiar with the vocabulary and able to perform the most commonly taught basic spins, transitional moves and pole strengthening exercises.

You will be expected to understand the terminology as well as demonstrate and perform Level 2 Moves with little to no guidance from the Instructor. You will be assessed on the technical aspect of the moves themselves, plus how polished your performance is so put on your sexy faces, and point your toes!
 
The instructor is going to be strict when assessing your performance, and will expect that you have already learned these moves during previous classes. This is not designed as an instructional class- it’s like a final exam, so you will have to truly earn your garter!
 
Part I- Individual Moves
After a warm-up, you will be split up into small groups. You will demonstrate each move, one by one, while the instructor assesses your performance. You may be asked to repeat these moves multiple times, on your dominant and non-dominant side.

If you do not pass, you will receive 3 free classes; please work on perfecting your moves and try again!

Once you earn your black garter you will also receive a Certificate of Completion and a custom Xpose Fitness Order of the Garter Hoodie with your name on it.
