Somatic Series is a practice designed to help individuals who want to re-energize their bodies when they have low energy or feel burnt out. This practice will help an individual to free the body of energy blocks and reduce chronic tension in the body. This program balances the Autonomic Nervous System. By balancing the autonomic nervous system an individual moves stagnant energy releasing tension, and improves organ function. Acupressure (self-massage), Breathing Techniques, Meditation, and Movement enable the body to increase energy flow through the whole system. I like to say “now the systems of the body start playing the same tune”. So the Cognitive, Cardiovascular, Digestion, and Immune system function in harmony.
Who is this for? Anyone experiencing Anxiety, Burnout, Chronic Pain or Tension, Exhaustion, Overwhelm, Stress, or Tightness in the body. So, like everyone really.
What's included: There will be a 4-week practice. The sessions will integrate Acupressure (self-massage), Breathing Techniques, Movement, and Meditation. Minimal equipment needed and chairs are available in-studio.
An Assessment will be used at the beginning of the program and at the end of the program to check the progress the individual has made.
Join Gian Joti Kaur for a relaxing weekly Gong Bath - every Thursday from 7:45pm-8:45pm. During this hour long session, You will be immersed in the vibration of the gongs, which are known to produce the sounds of the Universe. The vibrations wash over you, creating space and opportunity to release blockages and tension on both the physical and emotional levels. The waves of sound help to shift stagnant energies and invite your mind and body to enter a deep state of relaxation- where true healing occurs. Come and float away!
A 5-Week Chanting Experience - Finding Surrender in Mantra
An online, seasonal offering, open to all levels, including new or aspiring meditators who find joy, curiosity, and support in chanting sacred sounds!
Experience the
power of chanting in this 5-week series.
We are all here to ultimately experience the Truth of who we are. One of the ways we can begin to do this is by chanting sacred sound. When we chant, we connect deeply within and we begin to experience a love and a connection that we have always longed for. Over time, we see how our thoughts begin to change, our actions change, and we begin to vibrate a frequency of love, healing and peace to everything around us.
Each class will begin with pranayam to connect us with our bodies, and then we will move into a 31-minute chanting meditation, allowing the sound current of live chanting to support and guide you as you go within. You may use this time to actively engage in your meditation, or you may lie down and experience the healing effects of the sound current. I look forward to being with you all in this sacred space.
