Meet yourself with less judgment and more compassion.

Join Vanessa Chambers, E-CYT 500, for a deeply supportive and introspective workshop designed for those who tend to second guess, overthink, or feel hesitant in trusting themselves. With over 20 years of personal practice and a thoughtful, grounded teaching style, Vanessa creates a space where you can gently quiet the noise and reconnect with your inner voice.

Through restorative yoga and guided self-reflection, you’ll begin to shift how you see and speak to yourself — from criticism toward compassion.

You’ll be guided through:
• Restorative yoga to soothe the nervous system
• Self-inquiry prompts & journaling

• Self-forgiveness statements and affirmations

The development of self-forgiveness statements and affirmations
• Creating your own affirmation/forgiveness deck

Decks of cards will be provided — we’ll use what arises in practice to create something meaningful you can take with you, and use to bolster your inner speech day to day.

This is a space for the quiet ones, the thoughtful ones, the ones who have been hard on themselves… and are ready for something softer.

Schenectady Steps Toward Peace

Sometimes the most powerful response to a troubled world is the simplest: to step outside, place one foot in front of the other and walk with intention.

This month, you are invited to join a community peace walk sponsored by "Schenectady Steps Toward Peace”

This will be an opportunity to slow down, breathe together and remember that even small acts of presence can ripple outward to our city, to our nation and to our world.

Meet Mati (rain or shine) at the circle across the street from Arthur’s Market. She will guide a walking meditation down to Riverside Park, beside the Mohawk River to the White Pine Tree of Peace that was planted last fall. where a labyrinth will be present for continued steps of quiet reflection.

Donations will be gratefully accepted with proceeds benefiting the Inner Bliss Scholarship Fund.

I hope you will join me, as we carry a simple intention:

that peace begins wherever people are willing to move forward together.
