Dive deeper in relationship with Ram Dass and your loacal community right in Canton, Ohio at Yoga Central! At our local gatherings, we explore Ram Dass's trachings as we learn to navigate our spiritual and human journeys with humor, honesty & harmony. We focus on topics relevant to our daily lives, including love, compassion, meditation, mindfulness, expanding consciousness, service & spcial action, relationships, death & dying, and much, much more.

Taught by Mike Curtis. With the assistance of the yoga wall straps, slings, bars and harnesses we will be doing poses that are known to many, but the “familiar” postures are experienced in a decidedly different way with the yoga wall. Often, with the help of the yoga wall, poses can be held longer and the shape of your “familiar” pose will often be different. It is very illuminating and balancing to experience this approach to the yoga āsanas. The level of difficulty is not great, but this is a class for people with some yoga experience.

Kate Farris died in April, 2025. She left a very positive impact on our lives and we will have this special event in her honor. On this ocassion we will remember her greatness and the wonderful life she lived that helped so many. She was a wonderful influence and an active and generous supporter of the things in which she believed.

No need to bring anything. Come as you would to a regular yoga class. After the yoga class we will have some live music, tea and remembrances. No flowers, please.
