Calling all Moms, Dads, Grandparents, Caregivers, School and
Yoga Teachers….If you are someone who loves working with kids, this
workshop is for you. In our two days together, we will learn about
the many benefits of yoga for children, developmental stages of
childhood and all types of “intelligences.” We’ll explore the
differences between adults’ and kids’ classes, and settings-such as
yoga in classrooms, in studios, yoga camps and more! Other topics
include classroom management, routines, fostering a safe,
non-competitive environment, the “business” of kids’ yoga and much
more. We will cover all ages, with an emphasis on teaching children
ranging in age from 3 to 13.
Come with an open heart, an open mind and your INNER CHILD and
leave with a knowledge and confidence (and a TON of ideas) to teach
yoga to the special child in your life!

The Chakras, while considered part of the subtle anatomy system in the eastern study of Yoga, are also part of our gross anatomy system in the west. In this 2 day workshop, we will explore both the Eastern and Western perspectives; we will learn how the Chakras relate to the Bandhas and Vayus, as well as the nervous and endocrine systems. Each Chakra will be individually explored in connection with Asana and specific sequencing, along with Pranayama techniques, Chanting and Meditation.
