90 minutes of precious time dedicated to the art of rest just for the sake of resting, with a relaxed and casual vibe and we use yoga props throughout the practice to help us nestle into poses feeling supported. If you’ve ever started a yoga class in Savasana and fantasised about wanting to stay resting for the whole class then carve out some time on the mat for this feature!.....the feel of a morning sleep in or afternoon snooze you’ve been dreaming of, with around 6 poses in the 90 minutes including modifications, the scent of essential oils and zen music.

Enjoy this 90 minute Feature Class of Long Slow Deep Yoga Postures. This series focuses on hips, spine and mind. It is mostly floor postures done held for longer periods, making this a more Yin Based Practice. Each 90 minute Feature has a different theme, all guarenteed to nourish the mind and spine, leaving you feel more open, free after indulging in letting yourself 'be'
Options will be offered to make the postures more Restorative for those who like to feel the support of props.

This comprehensive Teacher Training Immersion is part of a Three Immersion series (that can be taken in any order or as a stand alone) This immersion can be taken as purely personal development and self healing or for those wanting to add this to their Teaching Toolkit (or Certfication Elective toward Yoga NRG 500 hour Teacher Training) Teachers from other schools that have Level 1 Certfication are also able to apply to commence on the 300 or 500 hour Training Pathway.
The Three Immersions : Head over Heels, Heart over Head, & Supported Integration of the Subtle Body. Each Immersion will cover a different series of Restorative Sequences and Varied Adaptations of Yoga Nidra ranging from the Gross (Anamaya Kosha) to the Subtle (elaboration on other Koshas / aspects of Mind, Emotions and more)

Marian Cavanagh is a Level 3 Yoga Australia registered yoga teacher with a wide range of training. Marian is a registered Relax and Renew Trainer, certified by Judith Lasater (one of the world’s leading authorities in restorative yoga) Marian has run hundreds of workshops, and has taught well over 1000 restorative students.
Marian is passionate about sharing this nurturing, healing practice. She specialises in long, deep, quietly held poses. She has been teaching yoga for over a decade, and restorative yoga for over 6 years, with hundreds of hours of restorative teaching practice. Her workshops emphasise internal rest with a focus on long-hold, quietly held spaces.
Tammy Wiliams is the Founder / Author & Program Manager of Yoga NRG & Mindfulness Teacher Training Programs. She is also a Clinical Nurse and continues to work specifically in the feild of Mindfulness & Yoga used as a Therapeutic Approach for clients wanting ways to help with anxiety, depression, relapse prevention and various forms of trauma. Tammy noticed huge benefits when combining her Mindfulness Programs with Restorative Yoga Postures and Yoga Nidra Integration & it was this that birthed the first “Mindfulness Based Restorative Yoga Teacher Training Program” . "Not everyone knows how to rest , however everyone needs to and benefits from rest. What stops us from truly resting and being supported is worth being mindful of. And anything that improves the quality of our life and our relationships is worth practicing and worth sharing. Learning how to weave different ways of offering Mindfulness and Practicing it will have a long lasting ripple effect.
Katie Adams ~ Katie has been delivering Mindfulness Based Restorative Featue Classes on a regular basis with Yoga NRG and has adapted various teaching styles to suit both small and large groups. Katie is currently completing her 500 hour Yoga Teacher Training with Yoga NRG including our Mentorship and Apprenticeship Program. She is passionate about self care and being of service to help people make space and recieve supported rest.
Doctor Emilia Dauway
(Guest Speaker / Author) Dr. Emilia Dauway is the former Chief of Breast Surgery and the director of the Breast Cancer Program at Baylor, Scott and White Healthcare in Texas, USA. She is an American trained surgeon who has taken the opportunity to practice general and oncologic surgery in Australia. She is interested in tumor biology differences across cultures and ethnic groups, as well as, the impact of cancer treatments on quality of life. This interest has sparked a passion for teaching and volunteering her surgical skills. She has worked with medical missions internationally in Peru, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Haiti and Cameroon, Africa.
Dr Dauway completed her Yoga & Mindfulness Teacher Training with Tammy Williams (Yoga NRG & Mindfulness Training Aust) and has integrated Mindfulness and Yoga into her Restore More events and Centre for Personal Renewal Programs for Breast Cancer Patients. She has recently released her first book “Live Fearlessly”

Without a doubt one of the best forms of personal development you can do. This course can be done over various timeframes to fit in with your current lifestyle/personal obligations. It involves 230 hours spread out over face to face intensives as well as remote options/ home study and online learning (various locations).
Our course director Tammy Williams is a Level 3 Senior Registered Yoga Teacher, Clinical Nurse, Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapist and she has trained teachers from all over the world ranging from 20-78 years old, some are athletes, corporate, health and fitness professionals, some have had health issues like Parkinson’s, PTSD, depression, anxiety, workaholism (and other addictions) others are school teachers or mums/ dads' wanting to take a change in career or time out to focus on health and fitness, study themselves so they can be a better parent/ partner or simply find ways to be happier and healthier.
Many who do the teacher training are curious about WHY YOGA WORKS and although may not necessarily do the training to want to teach, many do! We commit to supporting you to have the confidence to share and teach Yoga in a Mindful way with your own individual focus and passions in mind.
Together with a team of dedicated teachers and health professionals such as Physiotherapists, Naturopaths, Doctors, and multiskilled Yogis (both face to face and we also have filmed previous trainings live so you have extra support to refer back to , to help with taking time to process and hear the information repeatedly and at your own pace should you need)
You will be supported in a welcoming environment - and NO YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE ABLE TO DO ALL OF THE FANCY POSES in order to do this training.
You are able to apply for 200-hour, 300 hour or 500 hours: will learn a number of different styles of Yoga and be able to adapt various categories of poses so you can teach to a diverse range of students with your own unique style and flare. You will also spend one on one time with Tammy Williams the Course Director who specialises in personal development and growth from a Mindfulness Based framework that she has travelled all over the world to learn extensively over the last 26 years of her career in the health and wellness industry (and still does) so you are getting dedicated and ongoing support.

Tammy is passionate about Mindfulness due to having experienced the benefits and seen them from both a clinical perspective in her clinical role and during facilitation processes for Yoga Teachers Trainees.
You do not necessarily want to use this course to teach , many have done this course , multiple times as an opporutnity to deepen their practice, understand their mind and every time we have an opportunity to sit and be we have a chance to get clear, heal, and understand things better. For those who do wish to gain Full Certification - this course is fully accredited along with our Level 2 Mindfulness Teacher Training which make up the required minimum hours for Meditation Teaching.
The feedback from having offered a Zoom Live Online Traning (during Covid recently) has been extremely positive with some additional benefits: You get to practice at home which for most allowed for more introspection and setting up a regular routine at home. No travel required, the connection of the group is still available and processing time is given between sessions. This alone is one of the biggest benefits so the understanding and the practice becomes alot more integrated and deeper as the training is spread out in smaller bite size sessions. This is a much better way to practice and to learn , and for those who wish to teach, it is a much better way to strengthen your teaching skills (due to more processing time)
