Autumn Equinox Soundbath with Yin and Nidra

Join Ciara, Eimear and Lucie for this Autumn Equinox inspired practice.

On the 21st September we celebrate the Autumn Equinox, the start of Autumn. It is a time when there is an equal number of daylight and nighttime hours.

As we move into Autumn we can see changes in nature and from the equinox the nights start to get longer.

During our blend of yin, nidra and sound we will create a space that will encourage stillness and acknowledgement of what this seasonal change means. What will this new season bring?

The practice will blend a yin practice led by Lucie, a nidra practice led by Eimear and a soundbath led by Ciara. The practice will invite you to consider what this new season means for you.

All are welcome.
No prior experience of yoga is necessary.

Energy Balancing Workshop with Diana

As you enter the last three months of the year, what better time to reflect and rebalance. Being continuously busy or feeling stressed can result in our energy centres (chakras) being off balance and a feeling of disconnection to ourselves.
 
This workshop is themed around aligning and balancing the seven chakras in the body, to do this Diana will:
- introduce you to the seven main chakras in the body and give you an insight to what can show up physically, emotionally and mentally if there is an imbalance.
- invite you to tune inwards with this new insight and identify any potential imbalances.
- guide you through a chakra focused slow yoga flow practice, suitable for beginners.
- take you through a powerful and relaxing chakra balancing guided meditation.
- use therapeutic sound to bring you into a state of deep relaxation and encourage the flow of energy through your body.
 
There will be some yummy nourishing homemade treats for you to enjoy at the end.

It is a practice for everyone and is usually practiced lying down in any comfortable position with props and blankets.

Yoga Nidra draws our awarness inwards, to explore that liminial space between wakefulness and sleep.

Taking this time out of your day to simply rest into a deeper state of blissful awareness.

Journey To the Self- Exploring the Five Koshas with Diana

The ancient yoga teachings of the koshas, or five layers of being offer a rich framework for self exploration and an approach to wellbeing. Working with the koshas may allow you to go deeply into the centre of your self or soul.
 
In this workshop with Diana you will receive an introduction to the koshas and then explore each layer through:
- a slow mindful yoga flow practice to honour your body (suitable for beginners).
- breath work to remove stagnant energy.
- a guided visualisation meditation based around accessing your inner intuition.
- the use of therapeutic sound to help you settle into the space you have created and integrate your exploration of the five koshas.
 
You will have the opportunity to journal if you wish at the start and end of the workshop and will receive a handout you can take home with you.
 
There will be some yummy nourishing homemade treats for you to enjoy at the end.
