THE HEART OF YOGA
Are you intrigued by yoga, and wonder where the concepts and principles that you learn in a yoga class came from? The book “The Heart of Yoga” is one of the foundational texts for yoga as we know it in modern times. Written by TKV Desikachar, the son of Krishnamacharya, this book explores all the facets of yoga - from what the word MEANS, to how to apply it to life through the ancient teachings known as the yoga sutras.
This workshop series will take you through the book in a comprehensive way, to help any yoga student or teacher understand more deeply how to apply this sacred wisdom to their practice and their life. Each workshop will include learning, experience in the form of a practice suitable for all, reflection, and sharing (optional).
You can attend each workshop individually, or sign up for the entire series!
