Aerial Yoga 101 is the perfect introduction to the magic of yoga in the silks! This beginner-friendly workshop is designed for those curious about aerial but not yet ready to jump into our regular classes. You’ll learn foundational poses, safety tips, and how to move confidently and comfortably in the hammock—all in a fun, supportive environment.

Aerial yoga combines traditional yoga poses with the support of a soft, fabric hammock suspended from the ceiling. This innovative practice allows participants to experience yoga in a whole new dimension, incorporating elements of aerial arts, Pilates, and traditional yoga.

In Aerial Yoga 101, the hammock acts as a prop, assisting practitioners in achieving proper alignment, deepening stretches, and exploring inversions with ease. As participants flow through sequences, they experience a unique sense of freedom and weightlessness, as if floating through the air. The practice offers numerous physical benefits, including increased flexibility, strength, and balance. Additionally, aerial yoga provides an opportunity for emotional release and stress relief, as practitioners let go of tension and surrender to gravity.

Prior Aerial experience isn't required-- this class caters to all fitness levels and flexibilities. HOWEVER, familiarity with yoga and the ability to do a Vinyasa, including a yoga push-up, are HIGHLY recommended so that you can safely enjoy the class. Structured like a typical Flow class, Aerial Yoga includes centering, warm-up, core and upper body work, postures, inversions, and Savasana—all facilitated by the assistance of the swing.

  • We have 18 in person training days
  • Our in person training days typically run on Saturdays from 12-8pm and Sundays from 9-6pm with lunch/dinner break each day.
  • You will also receive an additional 40 hours of online training that can be done at your own pace. Throughout training you will be given your required online training homework assignments to be done by certain dates, but you have 24/7 access to the online training to meet your flexible needs.

Investment Options:

  • Early Bird discount: Save $400 off $2600 if registering by November 1st
  • Payment plan = Non-refundable Deposit of $300 and then 6 monthly payments of $390
  • Pay in full after November 1st = $2600
