Sacred Chanting with Damodar Das Kirtan
Friday, February 6th from 6:30 to 8:00 pm
Join us for a heart-centered practice open to people of all religions and backgrounds with Damodar Das Kirtan. Kirtan is a form of 'bhakti' (devotional) yoga that uses simple call-and-response chanting to quiet the mind, open the heart, and create a sense of connection.
The mantras are sung in Sanskrit, an ancient sacred language whose sounds are considered healing and uplifting in and of themselves.
No singing ability is required — just an openness to the experience.
The event is donation-based with a $5 minimum. Feel free to donate more at the event if you’d like, 100% of proceeds go to Help 4 Kids.

Reiki Level 1 Certification (Reiki I) with Reiki Master Alex Christie

About Reiki I Certification:
Reiki Level 1 is the foundational certification in the Reiki - Usui Shiki Ryoho healing modalities. This level focuses on personal healing, self-awareness, and learning the basics of working with universal life energy. Reiki I is ideal for beginners and requires no prior experience.
During Reiki Level 1 training, students are introduced to the history and principles of Reiki, the chakra system, and the concept of energy healing. A key part of the certification is receiving Reiki attunements from a Reiki Master, which open the student’s energy channels and allow them to access and channel Reiki energy.
Students learn how to practice Reiki on themselves and others using hands-on or hands-above techniques. Emphasis is placed on self-healing, grounding, intention, and developing sensitivity to energy. Reiki Level 1 also encourages mindfulness, emotional balance, and spiritual growth.
After completing the course, students receive a Reiki Level 1 certificate and are able to:

Reiki Level 1 certification is the first step in a Reiki journey and provides a strong foundation for personal wellness and future Reiki training.
