A 3-part introduction to conscious breathing to transform your physical, mental and emotional
The breath is the bridge to reconnect our mind, body and soul. When we change the way we
breathe, we change the way we feel. Conscious breathing is our built-in medicine to move us
through stress, anchoring us back into our own resourcefulness, clarity, health and aliveness.
Charmaine will guide you to harness the power of breathwork for positive and immediate
change in your life.
During these 3 sessions, you will be guided through breath practices designed to help you melt
away daily tension and stress, restoring you to a deeply relaxed and calm state of being. You
will leave each session feeling deeply rejuvenated, clear, and grounded in peace.
Beyond the tangible benefits experienced in-session, you will be supported in incorporating
these easy-to-use tools to thrive in your day-to-day life with more ease and resilience. Whether
in the grocery store lineup, at the dog park, driving, or during work meetings, you can change
the way you feel with the simple practices you’ll be taught!

Note: the breath practices we will use in this series are gentle and easy to learn, and can be
done by everyone. These are not the higher-intensity breathwork practices you may have
experienced like Wim Hoff, Conscious Connected Breathing (CCB) or Holotropic breathwork.

Have you ever wondered why we practice yoga? What about the interconnectedness in what happens outside of the studio or off your yoga mat? This series of practicum & practice will introduce you to the deeper principles, philosophy and practices of Yoga, its sister science; Ayurveda and teach a beginners guide to Sanskrit in addition to other Vedic Sciences. Ayurveda (“Science of life”) is related to our relationship to people, foods, and the environment in which we live in and highlights how we can best support ourselves and our overall well-being.

The class will explore asana, pranayama, chanting, as well as spiritual discourse and lecture. It is a wonderful opportunity to deepen your yoga practice, ask questions, expand your toolbox and connect with yourself (and others) in a meaningful and intentional way.

The definition of satsang is to be in the company of truth. It is meant to recognize that spiritual growth can and should happen within a community setting. All are welcome; classes are designed for both teachers and students.

Class will be held one Saturday a month at 10:30am for 90-minutes. This months event will be centered around the upcoming eclipse and the story of eclipses told through Indian wisdom.
