Stepping onto a yoga mat can be intimidating, the weight of thousands of years of tradition and millions of dollars of marketing piled on, with the expectation that you'll get it (whatever it is!) in one class. This three-week series is designed to take away the worries about your first yoga class and make your introduction to yoga an enjoyable experience.

  • Learn foundational principles of yoga including asana (postures) and pranayama (breathing exercises)
  • Understand the definition of yoga and some of it's meaning
  • Embrace a beginner's mind and enjoy learning about an ancient spiritual discipline
