Restorative yoga balances out our central nervous system by stimulating the parasympathetic nervous system. Our often high-energy lifestyle creates an over-stimulation of our central nervous system, which can lead to burn out and health problems.
Through out this 2 hour practice you will experience deep breathing and calming postures to lower your heart rate, breathing rate, blood pressure and slow down your emotions, putting your body and mind in a healthier state.
Jana has a degree in Psychology, and has been practising both yoga and Buddhism for over 18 years. She has a deep belief that through the understanding of modern neuroscience, ancient yogic and Buddhist Psychology, and the practice of a mindful yoga we can lead happier fulfilled and more compassionate lives.
Please bring your yoga mats and a light blanket.
