I have been a member at Sweat for almost 7 years. I am so thankful for this community of health and fitness. The staff has a wide breadth of experience and expertise. The classes are fun and challenging. The classes are changed up to keep people engaged. This is a very positive place of health and healing. I recovered from having babies here. I cross trained trained for several events here (Spartan, Escape from Alkatraz, Sf Half marathon, Monterey Bay Half, and 5ks and
mud runs). I have trained for “life” here, keeping up w my boys in street hockey, sledding and hiking threw the snow without getting winded, and backpacking without injury.  I look forward to meeting physical  challenges in 2020 knowing I am part of a sweet community of people pursuing health through medicinal movement. Thank you Sweat!

CardioBoxing 45 • $20.00

Duration: 45 minutes
 
CardioBoxing workouts employ varied moves including straignt jabs, hooks, uppercuts, cross jabs, low to mid-range kicks, and defensive bob and weave moves intermixed with cardiovascular exercises like mountain climbers, burpees, jumping jacks, and more.  The pace is non-stop, intense and fun!

Workouts vary per instructor and change frequently so your body will always be asked to adapt eliminating plateaus.
 
Workouts can utilize sets of boxing gloves, punching mitts, heavy bags and other portable equipment (all provided).
 
The workouts are high intensity however, we encourage you to go at your own pace.
 
*All levels welcomed
 
Bring water, a towel, and dress comfortably in appropriate workout attire, and wear tennis shoes (Vibram FiveFingers are permitted in class)
 
Special instructions

ATTENTION: 

You are encouraged to provide your own mats and towels for catching your SWEAT.

SWEAT provides multi-use foam exercise mats for use.  We also provide a cleaning solution and microfiber towels at the front desk, and you are required to clean the mat and any other equipment with the sanitizing and deodorizing cleaner prior to, and after use.  

SWEAT follows the CDPH Guidance for the Use of Face Coverings, requiring universal masking indoors (during exercise) statewide between December 15, 2021 and February 15, 2022, irrespective of vaccine status.
