Excellent set up and amazing staff!

This was my first time Swimming open water. I was slightly nervous, but their staff was very friendly, I needed to hire a wetsuit, this was so easy and very reasonable price.

My first open water swim here & it was ace- great staff around to make you feel welcome & safe. Lots of swimmers & there’s toilets, changing & a cafe too! Would highly recommend! Even had a bird of prey circling overhead!

Morgan, Tony, and Carrie were so welcoming and helpful. The rest of the team did a great job keeping us safe out there. A really well-oiled machine with a little cafe and some cute cats wondering about. Really enjoyed it.

Great set up and super organised with the pre visit video making a good all round first time experience. Will be back!

First time swimming here tonight. Fantastic setting with very friendly and helpful staff.  Will definitely be returning.

I have tried open water swimming in several sites and can say with absolute confidence that the safety and support at this site is far batter than any other I have visited.

The staff are friendly and aproachable a d the is cake and coffee at the end

I attended an evening open water swim at Blue Lagooners in Womersley and was thoroughly impressed. The spring-fed lake was clean and maintained a comfortable temperature, making for an invigorating swim.

Safety is clearly a top priority here. The presence of qualified lifeguards, safety paddlers, and rescue equipment provided peace of mind throughout the session.

The atmosphere was friendly and inclusive, with staff and fellow swimmers creating a welcoming environment. Facilities were well-organised, contributing to a smooth and enjoyable experience.

I highly recommend Blue Lagooners for anyone interested in open water swimming, whether you’re a beginner or an experienced swimmer.
