This new hobby is one of the better decisions I made this century. The site is on my doorstep which helps me and the whole set up works well. Staff are well trained and friendly. The clientele are a good bunch…and the place has a very sociable atmosphere. Things can only get better when all the facilities have been completed over the next couple of years. Try it…you might like it!!

This is my 5th or 6th visit to Lake Y, as a beginner open swimmer I've found the staff really helpful. The sauna tent is a great way of warming up after a cold swim on this visit! Can't wait until the site is fully developed with gym, lodges and cafe, it's such a brilliant asset to the area.

Crystal clear water, clean sand and a rubber walkway mat into the lake, lockers, outdoor shower to rinse off, changing rooms, hot drinks available and a FOC standup sauna to walk into for a blast of warm.  Blissful Sunday-thank you

Absolutely brilliant! What can I say about the Blue Lagoon and Evolve Endurance? This was my first season as an outdoor swimmer and I couldn't have been made to feel more welcome or more safe. We initially booked a private beginners session as a group to get to know the kit and how to acclimatise to the water but you dont need to do this, you can just book your first session and you'll be shown what to do when you arrive. Morgan and all the lifeguards team are great so I'm filled with confidence that they are watching out for all the swimmers when we're there. Complete mixed ability and ages so there's anyone from novices to experienced ironmen and women. Everyone is friendly so there's a great camaraderie and even on busy sessions there's plenty of room so you never feel crowded like Lane swimming. The lake is clean and there's plenty of parking. Im a complete convert to open water swimming so will be back as soon as the lake opens next season. Absolutely brilliant all round.

Beautiful lake and surroundings and a really friendly team. Thoroughly enjoyed my swim and would recommend Lake Y to others.

We had a fabulous evening last night thank you. The atmosphere, facilities, friendliness, service, pizza and effort that went in, it was all first class. We will be back for other events and swims throughout the year
