First outdoor swim this year and it was a cold one. Life guards on hand to offer cautionary advice and so glad I listened.  Not the distance I wanted but I get to come back next week and try again

I loved every minute of it, incredibly informative, interesting and well worth every penny. I corrected quite a few aspects of my swimming technique and have come away with hopefully a much faster, more efficient stroke. Losts to practice on now, the aim is to cut my half Ironman time down quite significantly, thank you Morgan, really looking forwards to my one to one session next. Cherry potter

Really pleased with the session I achieved everything and more from what I wanted to learn. Some real lightbulb moments from the session which where clearly delivered from Morgan who is a straight talking very knowledgeable coach.

I highly recommend the session to everyone looking to improve

Thank you for the knowledge

My Daughter and I really enjoyed our first session, everyone was really friendly and helpful.  The only let down was the absence of a coach.  Otherwise it would have been a five star review.

Hi Amanda, we apologies sincerely for the lack of coach on Saturday's session. We were let down by a coach who had been contracted to cover the session whilst we were working abroad, but who just didn't show up. This isn't how we expect our coaches to operate and we are sorry if your experience was below the high standards we expect of ourselves. You will have had a message to let you know we have issued a credit to your account to reflect the fact that no coach was present at the session. We look forward to seeing you soon.

Bit disappointing that there wasn’t a coach on Saturday but these things happen. One of the ladies wrote up the set from Thursday on the board so still did a decent swim and the team from the leisure centre were great and said we could still use the pool and they would provide a lifeguard

Hi Jane, Apologies for the lack of coach on Saturday. Sadly we were let down by one of our stand in coaches whilst we were away working abroad. We didn't find out until after the session as the coach just didn't turn up. As an organisation we always strive for excellence and this fell well below our usual standards. We will be crediting the account of everyone who attended to reflect the absence of the coach. Once again we apologies for your disappointment.

Regards,

Morgan & Bev

I cannot express enough gratitude for the incredible coaching experience provided by Mike last night. As my first time with the swim squad I was very nervous.

From the very beginning Mike's warmth and friendliness shone through. His genuine interest in every swimmer's progress is truly remarkable.

Mike takes the time to understand each swimmer's strengths and weaknesses, tailoring his approach to suit individual needs. His patience knows no bounds, as he tirelessly works with every swimmer.

Mike's positive attitude is infectious. He creates a supportive environment where swimmers feel empowered to push their limits and strive for excellence.

In every sense, Mike is a credit to the organization.

Brilliant swim coach session! Coach Morg very quickly identified where I needed to change my technique and the improved in speed and ease was immediate. Very impressed. I’ll be booking another session in the open water in April/May.

In short: game changer.
Yes, there’s the “oh good grief, do I really swim like that?!” moment (and yes, you do!) but then it can lead to a revelation in your swimming. And it’s not just about how to swim faster or more efficiently, Morgan will also focus on changing your stroke to help avoid injury (especially important since none of us are getting any younger).

Thank you so much - wish I’d done it ages ago!

Quality coaching in a friendly and supportive environment.

Arrived full of hope but low expectation that there could be a quick fix to my swimming struggles, which manifested themselves to me as a great deal of effort required to kick my legs to maintain any kind of horizontality in the water.

The video of my first 6 lengths is painful for me to watch, so must be really tedious for you!

You identified one key element of my poor technique - nothing to do with my leg kick but a lot to do with my hand entry.
Changing this aspect of my stroke immediately felt less effortful.

My key takeaway is to change the mantra from "stretch forward, and pull back" to "spear in, and move past".
I am excited to get back in the pool to practice my new stroke with more enjoyment and less struggle.

I am planning to return later in the year to hopefully see a change in the video and learn of the next step that might further improve my efficiency and enjoyment of swimming.

Watching elite swimmers is a joy but I should not expect or aspire to copy their style, just as I already have ne expectation that my running style would look anything like an elite runner, even though the basic rules of efficient motion remain the same.

I am very happy to take advice as to what works best for my physiology and I believe that is what you did.

Hope was fulfilled and expectations exceeded.

Thanks to you Morgan.
