It was very hot in there :).  I will put my hair up next time.  I was very relaxed when I left.  The next day very sore (first time doing yoga).  I am planning to be back this Sunday.

For some context, the only yoga class I have taken was through my highschool and it was a very watered down version of what Shine Power Yoga offers. With that being said, this was my first true yoga class experience and I loved it!! I am definitely a beginner to all of this, so I wanted to try out some classes in my area to get the poses down and find a community who also loves yoga. I chose Shine Power Yoga because the pricing was reasonable at $20 for a drop-in class and it is a woman-owned business. I signed up for the "Slow Flow Yoga" and I think it was a great first class. I was really nervous about going because I was worried about being the odd-one-out since I presumed I would be the youngest person in the class and also was pretty clueless, but the front desksman was extrmely friendly and made me feel at ease. I was pretty surprised with how warm it was when I first got into the class, but I ended up liking it in the end because I feel it helped me get deeper stretches. Initially, it was hard to get into it and take it seriously, but once we started doing more difficult poses and I started focusing on my breathing, I felt something close to a runner's high. My only complaint is it was difficult to know how to do many of the poses based off the name alone and since I was in the back, I had to base what I was doing off the people around me which is not always the best way to learn the proper form as some will have to alter poses to fit their personal needs. However, I think this problem will naturally fix itself as I continue to take more classes which I definitely intend to!

Jegath joined in youth Yoga and he have so much fun and activities.  He loved the way he was taught.

Great experience but expensive

Awesome day today, we started out early at Atsion Lake with a hike, followed by a dip in the lake. I went as far as my knees, first time for me, and then yoga class.
John and Kathryn were great!  I really enjoyed starting off the New Year this way!  Thanks so much!

Great first time back in 10+ years. Instructor and space fabulous!

Kathryn led a powerful flow with supportive hands on assists and uplifting language with consistent reminders to stay present with the practice, especially in the fire. I left  feeling energized and loved!

My daughter Jocelyn is in the 6 week Yoga for Youth class and is absolutely loving it!  Everyone was so warm and welcoming to her and she comes home excited to show off what she learned in class. She has had nothing but great things to say about the instructors in the studio!
