A brilliant open water coaching session with Jason today. He listened to what I wanted to work on, quickly spotted 2 things I was doing that I was unaware of, and showed me how to fix them. My swimming and sighting immediately felt smoother and I felt I had more of a rhythm. I had been a bit concerned about the cold and wind at the lake today but Jason kept me moving and it was all fine. I really enjoyed it!
This was a good set to work through following a short break from a minor injury. Perfect timing! I am also hugely appreciative of the feedback notes which I received last week. The feedback comments have tied in with my time off / injury and have really highlighted the aspects of my stroke I need to continue to work on. THANKYOU 🙏
Great Tuesday CSS paced session - blocks of reducing distances ( beating or meeting the beep) always good to be pacing yourself against lane buddies :)

Great to be back after various hiccups and the small matter of an election. I enjoyed the session…I really appreciate the time to work on technique. Normally, when I focus on rotation I can feel my glute medius muscles working… today on corpse drill I couldn’t feel them….which sounds counter intuitive.
A big session for the shoulders! Loved the 200 and 100 mix up.
A really good pacing session this morning. Painful by the end! But well structured and beneficial overall!
