Drawn to yoga at a young age, Kelly spent many years as a practitioner before diving deep into her practice and completing her first 200-hour yoga teacher training in 2011. This training largely focused on yogic philosophy with an emphasis on self-reflection and personal/spiritual growth.
In 2014 Kelly continued her studies at the Shoshoni Ashram in the Colorado Rocky Mountains. This 200-hour hatha yoga and meditation training provided the foundation for her to create unique hatha flow classes that combine postures and pranayama (breathing techniques) with mindful cues to stay present on the mat. Kelly’s classes are a creative challenge that build strength, increase flexibility, and can be modified for any level. She provides a safe and welcoming space for yogis to learn the basics of yoga and grow at their own pace while encouraging students to meet their edge and work towards greeting challenge with more patience and compassion.
As a local musician and yogi, Kelly is passionate about the healing benefits of music and often sings and plays mandolin or guitar during the final resting pose of savasana.
