This place is amazing and I am so blessed to have this sanctuary only 15 minutes away from my home! The place is very soothing and healing, and it just has a good feel. The decoration, the ambiance, and all the healing rooms. I don't want to leave! My hubby and I had our couples massage here in the Himalayan Salt room and the only complaint I have is that I should have gotten the 90 minutes instead of 60! I also love their Yoga classes, they have a wide range of selections. I tried their Intro Aerial Yoga classes twice, one with Molly and second one with Mika they are both excellent instructors and it was so much fun, that I am trying it again for the third time bringing my 16 year old daughter this Saturday. I absolutely loved it! I also tried the Hot Yoga with Mika and she is just amazing, I really need this as I need to focus on stretching and balance more! Everyone here is so nice and welcoming, Alyssa the owner greeted me when I showed up for my second and third Yoga classes and she is awesome. She always made me feel welcome actually everyone here that I met so far has really made me feel welcome and that they been waiting for you to arrive. Alyssa have done an awesome job with this place, I am so glad I got a chance to chat with her to express my appreciation for what she has done here. It's just that positive vibe that everyone seem to have here and I'm really happy that I live so close that I can start attending on regular basis. I am looking forward to my journey here as I attempt to learn more about body healing and self care through Yoga, Salt therapy and reflexology. Thank you Flow Motions, for giving me a chance to heal myself!
Stacey graduated from the Yoga Medicine 200-hour yoga teacher training with an additional 25-hour focus and certification in hip anatomy and dysfunction. She is currently working towards her 500-hour certification. Her training had a strong emphasis on anatomy, alignment, and how to enjoy pain free movement.
Stacey’s friends often call her Sparkles because she has a sparkly, effervescent personality and usually has some sort of glitter on her (even her yoga mat is sparkly). Her energy, love for movement and teaching, and passion for music are the driving forces behind her yoga classes. You can expect music playlists that are custom-made to match her yoga classes. Her contagious energy matches the class and leaves you feeling sparkly! She is passionate about nourishing movement and enjoys teaching dynamic classes that rejuvenate your body, mind, and soul. She can be found before class ready and excited to answer questions and to see your smiling eyes. Stacey loves all things squishy and enjoys a good yoga block set up for class, as she deems yoga blocks an extension of your body.
One of Stacey’s all-time heroes is Julia Child, and she had the great privilege of meeting her at a young age. Stacey finds that she has many similarities with Julia- a strong love for food, being perfectly tall, and unapologetically herself. Stacey spent four glorious years studying baking and pastry at The Culinary Institute of America in New York where she worked with some of the best Chefs and Pastry Chefs in the United States. You say the word chocolate and she will make you a masterpiece! Stacey not only teaches yoga, but she teaches baking and pastry arts at Bellingham Technical College where she graces the students with sweet food-science knowledge and is known to throw her own Great British Bake Off.
In her free time, she enjoys hiking with her pups Oak and Hazel (and spoiling them with whip cream treats), gardening with her grandma, learning everything about agriculture, painting, and laughing!
