This is a review of Copper Etching kid's summer camp. This was a great way to spend a free week of my summer. You can make things from bookmarks and rings to bracelets and necklaces, and also a few of your own nick-knacks. You learn how to use things such as jewelry saws, torches, a rolling mill, and others. I look forward to taking other camps here. I would also like there to be a stone setting camp!
Hannah Rose Wilson is a Texas based metalsmith, who received her BFA in Metals and Communication Design at Texas State University in San Marcos, TX. Since graduating in 2013, Hannah has maintained a career in the art field, specifically in metals. In 2014 and 2015, she spent the Summer working at Haystack Mountain School of Crafts in Deer Isle, ME, while working for several Austin-based artists. In 2016, she worked as the Metals Studio Manager at Texas State University, and began teaching at Creative Side Jewelry Academy. Hannah is now the Director of Studio Operations here at Creative Side, where she maintains the flow of the studio and help students realize their full potential.
