I have been coming to Heartwood for a while now and I’m NEVER dissatisfied. Staff is amazing, the atmosphere is peaceful, inviting and relaxing. Once you enter the grounds, it’s like everything in the outside world disappears. A refreshing healthy way to reflect and rejuvenate! Thank you all for your beautiful hearts!

Amanda believes that nurturing the body, mind, and spirit is the key to a healthy, balanced life.
Having originally trained in Pennsylvania in 2013, she took her advanced teacher training with Heartwood Yoga Institute. She has been integrating yoga and bodywork extensively to practice and evolve - for herself and others - for the past 15 years in total.
Yoga has helped Amanda through some of her life’s most difficult moments including PTSD, anxiety disorder, eating disorders, injuries and grieving the loss of loved ones. She is trained in and teaches a variety of yoga styles, including Vinyasa Flow, Restorative, Yin, and Aerial, as well as specialty yoga for people who have disabilities or need palliative care. She encourages body awareness and positivity throughout every stage and age in life, and offers modifications for anyone in need of them.
Amanda recently relocated to beautiful Florida to pursue her training as a Certified Yoga Therapist here at Heartwood. She is also a Licensed Massage Therapist and an Assistant Instructor on staff.
