Vamonos was fantastic! Everyone was nice and welcoming. Jennifer was great, she took the time to welcome me and at the end checked in to ask about my experience. The class was a great blend, some easier and some difficult moves. The music was a great blend of speeds as well as new and old songs! Can't wait to go again!!!

This was my first Nia class at Studio Nia and I loved it! It was so much fun, did not feel at all like exercise and I can't wait to go back! I loved the integration of "letting your stuff go" and verbalization/shouts while dancing. It truly felt like a "full-body" experience. I had an easy time following the rest of the (packed!) class, as the moves are not complicated...

My word for the year is "explore" so I decided to give Nia a try. As a somewhat uncoordinated and introverted person, I put on my bravest self for the class. I wasn't sure about the "free dance"portion. However, everyone was so friendly and welcoming, I was right at ease. The class was really fun and, after this blister heals, I plan to go back!

The Slow Flow yoga class was great. there was enough time through the poses to really open me up. The Movement Center itself is a beautiful place. What an amazing building and grounds. I think it's great that they have all of the equipment there for you to use, so you don't even have to bring your own yoga mat. There's even restrooms and a That sure makes it easy...

Today I attended my first Nia class, to be honest I was quite nervous and feeling out of my comfort zone. Everyone was so friendly with such positive energy, that nervous feeling turned into complete excitement. I wasn't really sure what we are going to be doing. What a great studio! Debbie the Instructor was amazing, warm, and inviting. At least 6 people made me feel very welcome to be there, and it was a good, honest, workout. Nothing too difficult, but no walk in the park either. And it was FUN! Definitely going back.

I love the brain and body holistic fitness classes. They are great for gentle stretching, working out sore muscles, and relaxing. I use these classes in between cardio work-outs. I wouldn't expect to work up a sweat or lose weight from these classes, but I feel wonderful when I leave.

I've just started taking the Chi Core Yoga class with Jessey and it's amazing! The center is beautiful and everyone is so welcoming and kind. I've taken yoga classes before but this class seems to focus so much on correct movement and breathing. I can really feel my core getting stronger and my muscle tone improving. I would definitely recommend this center for yoga. It's time/money well-spent.

I haven't been active with yoga in several years and attended an all levels class this morning. Kelly was great! The pace and instruction was good and I will absolutely be going back. The space was nice and overall it was exactly what I had hoped for in getting my feet wet again.

My first visit to the Lotus Seed was a wonderful experience! The gal at the front desk very pleasantly greeted me and then introduced me to the instructor, Sandy. The space was lovely and calming and Sandy was just the same. Her encouragement and demeanor made the class one of my best yoga experiences in all of my 10 years practicing. I will definitely return soon!

The facility I thought was great, the attendance was only 4 students- which may be typical on a Friday morning, I liked that it allowed for more attention paid to each student. It differed a bit from my previous yoga experience which is at 24hr fitness. There was no music and it felt pretty gentle...

I really enjoyed today's Yoga Basics class. I have done yoga before, but it was nice to take it from the beginning and more slow with explained motions. The teacher was awesome and would help the students adjust their body to the right alignment or the right pose. This was extremely beneficial due to my constant thoughts of if I was doing it right...

I really enjoyed the All-levels yoga class I took at Lotus Seed - the atmosphere was super mellow and the instructor did an excellent job of leading us through the poses and breathing exercises. Paperwork for first time signup was nearly painless and there was no sales pressure. The environment is warm and comfortable, but no frills - it felt closer to the ashram than the gym...

Very welcoming owner/instructor. I have been away from physical fitness for some time but this was very relaxing and definitely a great start to my day. Sadly, once you are in the yoga room, the lobby is unsecured, and my wallet was stolen from my coat while in a session.

I went to attend Free Dance the Divine at Studio Nia last Sunday, and I had a really great time over there. The front desk lady, Savannah was very nice and the instructor, Siere was as nice as Savannah. The studio is the fourth floor, so I enjoyed the view while dancing. Also, there was a free public parking until 1pm, so it was easy and stress free when I was dancing with the studio students...

My first trip to the lotus seed was fantastic. Debi the instructor was very nice and positive. She was very helpful and the class was a positive experience. I am very excited to go back. The space was great with different size rooms to accommodate various class sizes. The other students were warm and inviting as well!

Zumba at Vamonos is SO much fun! I'm inviting all my friends. Honestly, the first class was a little intimidating because there are so many moves and I'm not very coordinated. But most songs and dances repeat each class so you can get a feel for them, and learn as you go. So many nice, non-judgmental people. Very fun atmosphere & great instructor. I'll be going back again and again.

Lotus Seed was the most easy-going relaxing studio I have been at in Portland, Oregon. The class was fun and challenging. The instructor was very enthusiastic, talented and did a wonderful job of making everyone, at every level feel comfortable. I liked the studio with it's grand architecture and hardwood floors. The music was fun and upbeat, and I definitely broke a sweat! Going into class, my lower back was super tight and painful, and leaving it felt much better...

I've been taking classes with the movement center for 4 weeks now, and I had a great experience with them. Personally I am a big fan of Avery's class. Instead of focusing on poses, Avery blends in a lot of breathing techniques, which makes it challenging and eventually I get to know my body a lot better than just simply knowing the pose itself...

This class was awesome. I take two things away from it the most - how fun yet physically demanding the exercises were and how nice/welcoming the people were. We began the class by playing a game. This went on for the first half hour or so. The object of the game was to get this small medicine ball over to your side of the mat without getting tagged by your opponent...

I love the Movement Center! Beautiful, clean, spacious facility and they provide, mats, blocks, bolsters, blankets and straps for your practice. I have been to two yoga classes here. The instructor was good although I was expecting a more vigorous course because the class title was 'hatha (viogourus)'. We did some interesting poses like 'tiger' which were new to me...
