When you walk into the House of Yoga inFredericksburg you get this immediate feeling of peace. The lobby is very warm and welcoming. The staff is always friendly and welcomes you with a warm smile. The instructors that I've had so far have been wonderful. The room is not "too" hot like other studios that I've been to which is nice. Don't get me wrong it's hot but you can still breathe!

Beautiful studio! The atmosphere was friendly. I was little skeptical about "energy medicine", but it was gentle yoga with emphasis on stimulating energy. I liked massage on hands and feet and started to practice it at home. Nauli Kriya (activating uddiyana bandha) was one of my favorites. I enjoyed the class and would definitely come back!

Heated Yin with Rachel M. was a very meditative and unique first experience. She’s a warm spirit and made my partner and I feel very welcomed. After participating in a very rigorous yoga class the day before, this class was exactly what I needed to give my body some extra love and attention. Not always the same muscle group so I know Donna prepares exercises facilitating a concentration of a particular muscle! Rowan’s Hot Yoga Foundation class has to be my favorite. I am a beginner so the fact that we were guided to work through our bodies in our individual practice was such a blessing. Alia’s Mindful Flow was fantastic! I enjoyed the combination of slow vinyasa, yin, and mindfully breathing and moving our bodies at our own pace. Alia’s energy in the class was magnetic, and a shining beacon of comfort, acceptance, and grounding. I have not felt so utterly relaxed in a yoga class in a long time! When I started training, my pup wouldn't come when called, would stop randomly while walking, and didn't really listen to anything. Now I can confidently not hold his leash out in public and he will stay wherever I tell him to go until I tell him it is ok to leave. Not only due the trainers know what they are doing, but they also are very friendly!

All of the staff members are wonderful and the instructors are all knowledgeable, helpful and encouraging. They provide help and adjustments whenever you need, inviting you to push to your edge but not too far...

Another great restorative yoga class with Brian. In the past I have attended yoga classes with my neighbor in PA and yoga classes with my daughter in CALIFORNIA. I only attended to be with my neighbor or daughter. Brain’s class I attend online because I liked the time slot and I anted you support Brian and his first yoga class. I was hooked!!!!!!

First came to BYC about 10 years ago and have been hooked. Since COVID-19 took over classes became virtual. My favorites are HIIT Pilates and YinYasa! The yinyasa helps tremendously with my flexibility and the HIIT Pilates helps with strength and toning. So many other options on the menu. For me, during this COVID-19 pause, yinyasa combined with HIIT Pilates is the right combination for me.

Lacey was a wonderful instructor. Her closing remarks and mantra at the end of class about making space for all people really resonated with me! My partner and I enjoyed the Hot Foundations class because it was an especially fun workout and a really productive way to start the day. Thank you!

Matt provided a very nice Hot Stability class, placing his own spin on the practice. He provides clear cues and has a very good voice for the space. I look forward to taking more of his classes.

My first time going I took Sexy Stretch because Pole 1 sold out so quickly because of limited spots due to CoVid. The place is beautiful, the instructors are great, and the atmosphere is very welcoming.

Rachel’s Yin class is great! I love going on Wednesday & Sundays! It truly helps me relax and I find myself sleeping better on the nights I go to Rachel’s Class.

Really enjoy circuit training at Curves. The workout is whatever you make it and how much effort you put into it. Great staff! I haven’t been in two months and am really grateful to be back for a good workout and get back into my routine. Wish Saturday mornings were once again available!

I love SHOY. The people that work there are so friendly and helpful. The instructors are both knowledgeable and encouraging... even for a noob like me! I especially enjoy Luke’s classes. It’s easy to see how much preparation he does to ensure everyone has a great class.

Donna was my first coach she is wonderful she keeps me in the zone she created my positions made sure that my form was okay and didn't make me feel like I couldn't do it I love the way she coached the class
