Katie Britt is an ACE® certified Group Fitness Instructor, Functional Movement Specialist, and NASM Certified Personal Trainer. She has been teaching barre since 2014, after she fell in love with the format when she took her first class.
Katie teaches barre in an approachable yet challenging style, utilizing small hand weights combined with body-weight only resistance. She incorporates enough movement to elevate the heart rate and heat the body. Her classes will leave you feeling strengthened, lengthened, and energized!
A trained dancer with a degree in Musical Theatre, Katie has experience with classical ballet, ballroom, and jazz. Strength training in the traditional manner had left her uninspired and when she found a barre program that incorporated principals of dance, pilates, and yoga, she knew she’d found her perfect class!
