Classes are open to all levels, and are taught in the systematic manner outlined by world-renowed yoga master and teacher B.K.S. Iyengar. Students will experience how postures build strength, stamina, and flexibility. Techniques for stress relief and relaxation are also taught. Students will gain the confidence and knowledge necessary to continue practicing yoga at home and at the studio.
Students must book ahead with Meta Body and bring their confirmation with them to the first class.
Students are asked to arrive 10 minutes prior to class. It is recommended that students wear shorts or footless tights, t-shirts or leotards. Bare feet are essential and shoes must be removed upon entering the studio.
Cleanliness is an integral part of yoga. Clothes and bodies should be clean. No perfumes please.
Food should not be eaten for at least two hours prior to class. Please try to avoid drinking water during class.
