Echo, originally from Oregon, moved to Boise in 2010 for college
and played on the BSU Women’s Club Soccer Team. She practiced yoga
for the first time in 2012, and quickly fell in love with the
dynamic, challenging and unifying aspects of the practice. She
first was drawn to yoga as a form of physical exercise, but then
began to use the practice as a healing mechanism for PTSD and
anxiety. Yoga began to fuel her with empowerment, inner strength,
optimism and gratitude on and off the mat. After graduating
college, Echo lived in Aspen, Colorado snowboarding, hiking and
practicing yoga in a new environment. In 2017, she returned to
Boise to complete her 200 RYT Training at HMY.
As her teaching style and her own practice continue to grow,
Echo incorporates foundational, mindful and strengthening movements
on the mat. Through the connection of the asanas and pranayama, her
classes will challenge you to go within, and focus on alignment,
balance and stability. Most importantly, she hopes to create a
space were students feel welcomed, valued and connected.
