I tried out the salt cave for my first time ever and was very impressed! I suffer from anxiety and depression and don’t take meds for it. Spending 45 mins in the salt cave not only cleared up my breathing but eased my anxiety tenfold. I left feeling like a great weight was lifted off my chest and felt like I was ready to tackle life again.
Lisa Kearny Lerner has been practicing yoga for over 20 years. She completed the 200 hour teacher training at Yogaworks, studied restorative yoga with Judith Lasater, and obtained her therapeutic yoga certification at Integral Yoga. She lived in New York City for the past 16 years where she completed all her trainings and discovered Iyengar yoga, which she has practiced for the last 10 years. Iyengar, which focuses primarily on alignment, is the foundation for her teaching today.
A graduate of Columbia University, Lisa works as an Occupational Therapist providing both physical and cognitive skill training related to activities of daily living. She enjoys incorporating therapeutic yoga in a rehabilitation setting and has worked with clients with a variety of injuries and health concerns. In addition, she is certified in teaching children of all ages and has primarily worked with those with special needs
