‘Kate Christensen has been a passionate &
dedicated student of yoga for over a decade, dabbling in most
Kate’s encounters with Yin resonated so profoundly
that after completing her base level 200hr training, she decided to
further study two levels of specialised yin training.
She explores Qi Gong, Yoga Nidra &
restorative elements in her classes & offers a nurturing space
for students of all ages & levels to practice.
Yin is a slow-paced, deeply inward practice focused
more on holding fewer poses for longer & surrendering to
gravity than it is about effort.
This multilayered, moving meditation mindfully
works joints & connective tissue as well as stimulating energy
channels & releasing stress by restoring the parasympathetic
Yin builds resilience & acceptance, cultivating
comfort within the discomfort & allows self-enquiry of
experience to help reconnect & restore.’
