Attending a yoga class in a local hall one Saturday morning
proved life-changing for Jo. She’d tried
yoga a few times throughout her life, but that morning’s Vinyasa class was different. Post-class she
felt a new energy, so went back the next week for more.
At a particularly challenging time in her life, regular practice helped her feel calmer and more positive. Jo decided she wanted to teach yoga so she could share with others, things she’d learned on the mat which proved invaluable in everyday life.
Jo still loves Vinyasa, but also enjoys slower flows and Restorative Yoga, and has had the privilege of guiding many first time yogis through their first class. Her mission is to help others experience the joy and benefits of yoga in a supportive, fun and friendly atmosphere. She offers variations for poses and encourages the use of props, so everyone can practise safely and in the right way for their body.
