I’ve been attending this studio for a few months. I love the option to book and pay via the app, the ample selection of classes every day, and the feeling of serenity and calm in the studio. I’ve become hooked to my yoga practice and look forward to learning more from the inspiring teachers in the future.
Anna-Lisa's yoga journey began in 2014 as a way to support
her running routine. After hitting a massive low in 2018 it was
through yoga that she found a sense of self again. Yoga to
Anna-Lisa is not only a way to move her body but to challenge
herself, the practice allowed her to feel at home within
herself. “It helped me realise that I am enough, as I am”...
(which is why Yoga is more than just an
exercise).
Through both the asanas and yogic philosophy Anna-Lisa is
constantly learning to change her thought patterns and behaviours,
clear her mind, and see the beauty in the world. And you can feel
this coming through in her classes.
Anna-Lisa teaches the Sunday Restorative Yoga Session, and her
classes a very therapeutic and supportive. Her class is to start
with a restorative meditation whilst laying in a comfortable
resting position. Each week she aims to open and release
tension in different parts of the body to bring back that
much-needed sense of ease. Using restorative postures, breath, and
other deep relaxation tools to bring balance and calmness to both
body and mind.
