Rebecca Causey is a lifelong student of movement and has taught Hatha yoga for over 10 years. Also a Pilates teacher, she intertwines Pilates principles in yoga class to help her students develop strength, avoid injury, and develop a more comprehensive understanding of their body and practice. Rebecca primarily teaches private lessons and loves working one on one with students to help them find more precision and depth in their practice as well as relief from chronic pain.
Constant curiosity about the intersection of our lived and anatomical bodies led her to complete several anatomy courses including Kinesthetic Anatomy and Biomechanics of Motion with Irene Dowd, and a Fascial Dissection Lab with Tom Meyers. She has completed over 2500 hours of training in various yoga and Pilates methods including Bikram Yoga, Tony Sanchez Yoga, and JM Vinyasa. Rebecca’s mission is to help students connect with their strength, flexibility, mobility and breath in a way that serves them in their practice and beyond.
