Emily began practicing yoga in 2008 at Yoga Sole after moving into the neighborhood. In 2014 she completed her 200-hour teacher training under the guidance of Ariel Kiley & Yuuki Hirano at Dou Yoga in Brooklyn. After an old injury came back to haunt her, she decided to delve into more restorative/therapeutic Yoga. In 2015 she received her certification for The Roll Model® Method – The Science of Rolling( a Yoga Tune Up® Therapy Training) and in 2017, she received her Restorative Yoga Training with Mona Anand & Gina Menza at Ishta Yoga. When not practicing Yoga she works full time as a manager for an artist estate & is an active photographer wandering the streets of NYC.
