Maureen “Mo” Flynn (RYT-200) first found her way to the mat in 2013 and never looked back. Originally a means to inject a little bit of life into her work/life balance, her practice quickly evolved from routine to ritual.
Even in times of darkness, Maureen has always found solace in “rolling out the magic carpet” to shake off some stress and anxiety. Her practice has helped her tremendously in her experience with mental health disorders, pulmonary issues, and neuromuscular disease, and she is a firm believer in that we need to prioritize our wellness if we want to stave off illness
She completed her 200 hour teacher training under the guidance of Dara Cole and Stephanie Battle at Sacred Brooklyn in 2020. Driven by beats and breath, her playful classes weave in functional movement with meditation + pranayama, all set to a killer playlist.
