WOW I needed this class!!! Incredible for those with muscle knots/spasms + myofascial pain, or really just any human with a body :)

This is exactly what I need in my toolbox to help manage a chronic pain condition. I am so excited to continue taking this class so that I can learn new techniques for a more functional physical body!

I'll be in class, oohing and ahhing on my mat. See ya there!

My journey with yoga began over 20 years ago while dancing on
Broadway. I was drawn to the practice to help balance my body and
calm my mind from the rigors of my career.
I trained in ballet from a young age, earning my BFA from Meadows
School of the Arts at SMU in Dallas, TX. I received my 200hr RYT
certification, led by Nikki Vilella, at Kula Yoga Project in 2018 in New
York City. My continuing education includes: Stanford Medicine
Compassion Cultivation Training, Yoga Anatomy at The Breathing
Project with Leslie Kaminoff, Functional Awareness with Nancy and
Allegra Romita, and a 75-hour Advanced Teacher Training with Kula
Yoga Project.
I am a co-founder and board member of Blue School, a progressive,
independent school in downtown Manhattan, and a mother of two

As a teacher and practitioner, I approach my classes with compassion,
curiosity, playfulness, and love. My continued study and understanding
of anatomy allow me to create intelligent, alignment-based
sequences. I prioritize the breath and the use of as many props as
needed to access any asana. My goal, when I teach, is to leave my
students feeling more balanced, more mind-body connected, and
more open and lifted both physically and emotionally.
